"I AM ENGAGED TO 2 WOMEN, WHO HAVE NO IDEA I LIVE A FAKE LIFE"

Happy Saturday fabulous folks,
I woke up this morning and the first thing that came to mind was what to feed y'all (my dedicated readers) to get your day going. I also wanted to post something that might help educate young girls on the reality of the dating scene in Nigeria especially Lagos and even around the world. So I decided to post this story which I had in my mail box for a few days now. I must say that this is a sad story but lets face it, its the reality of our world. So scroll down and read and please learn from this ladies...
As usual, we have decided to not disclose the real name of the writer for protection and privacy reasons.

"Hi NYF,
I am not really writing for advice, or because I feel so bad at what I have done. I am writing because I want ladies out there to understand that men do what they do because of them. I am currently engaged to two women who I have no intention of actually marrying, I have met both their families so they assume that I am very serious and I am not sure if I really care.

To be honest I don't see myself settling down anytime soon, but getting engaged is one of the easiest ways to sleep with as much girls as possible. When I tell girls that I am looking for a wife, they tend to become more vulnerable which makes it easier for me to sleep with them.

I don't have a good paying job, but I drive 2 nice cars, a Range Rover and  a Mercedes G-wagon both of which belong to my uncle who is abroad most of the time. These girls look at my car and think I am a BIG BOY.
I got engaged to Jenny first before Amaka, and I know they are with me because they like the money they think I have. I tell girls that I am into Oil and Gas and in Lagos that's one of the best jobs to tell any girl that your into.

My cars alone helps me to deceive so many girls who are after money, most of the time these girls are the ones giving me gifts (money and all sorts) to show that they really care.

Jenny and Amaka have both been to my house (which I am not paying for) in VGC, they have both slept over just like many other girls who I have been engaged to in the past before. I feel sorry for Amaka because she is  a sweet girl from a rich and God fearing home but she's a very fine girl and lying was the only way to get to her.

So the truth is this, the fact that I am engaged to 2 women who have no idea I am living a fake life does not bother me, because to be honest, I have been engaged several times before and I always come up with reasons why the wedding will not hold and I move on to the next. Girls are stupid and selfish and they want the most impossible things.
Me I am having so much fun and I am living the life of a Lagos Big Boy."- Tony.

WOW WOW WOW!!! This has got to be the most unbelievable ish I've read in a while. Oh well there you have it ladies...mind who you trust. All that glitters definitely aint gold or diamond.

GRAND SQUARE-I like this place because there are so many options everyday and they are constantly changing. The price is decent as well.

ICECREAM FACTORY-VI, This spot is new but its worth going to, I am addicted to their flavors which are all home made. And when you're there, make sure you try their waffles its beyond words, I'm already salivating thinking about it!!!

CHOCOLATE ROYALE VI: this is an old place and I am sure most of you have been there, but make sure you try out their cookies and doughnut, they're to die for.. YUM!! I like going here sometimes because they also give the option of low-fat ice-cream flavors which is always a great way to cheat. *wink wink*

COOL CAFE Etim Inyang: Another joint where you can get some really nice icecream, its always a good idea to try different places and I would suggest Cool Cafe anytime.

UTI NWACHUKWU OF NIGERIA EMERGES AS BIG BROTHER WINNER!!!!

I must say that I am very proud of my fellow Naija people, we came together and made history...WE VOTED A NIGERIAN AS BIG BROTHER WINNER TWICE IN A ROW!!!!!
Lol at Munya's reaction when he heard Uti called as the winner, dude had his hands on his head like WTF and started crying like a little baby. Munya as far as I'm concerned was a bit too proud and convinced that he was the winner and he got a hard bite of reality tonight. A big congratulations to Uti who is now $200,000 richer!!! can't wait to see you back in the homeland. Uti celebrated his victory with a song of the Nigeria's national anthem and a few of his signature moves.  Hopefully he puts his money to good use and makes his music and acting dreams a realization. Guy is hilarious. The best and most entertaining man won indeed!

NEWS EXTRA: D'BANJ FEUDING WITH GLO?!?!?!

Word on the street is that Dayo Oyebanjo, popularly as D’banj might soon experience a huge cut to his multimillion naira a year income.
It is believed that he might not get signed on as a Glo-Ambassador because of he’s many ‘inconsiderate’ demands and breach of contracts.
*looks like someone is being a diva*
D’banj’s 2yr contract which expired in April is yet to be renewed and with the way things are going, the chances of a renewal doesn’t look too promising.
While other artists and entertainment personalities such as P-Square, had renewed their various contracts with Globacom, that of Dbanj was left, leaving us with questions as to why.
In 2008, D‘banj was signed on as a Globacom ambassador in a deal worth N70m and got a branded SUV estimated at N15m. As the headlining act during the company’s Rock and Rule tour of Nigerian cities then, he got N2m per show and was signed on for 18 cities. Reports said he got his money upfront.

However, maybe due to bad management and advice, or simply a show of exuberance, D’banj thought it best to write a letter of complaint asking that his contract be re-evaluated as he wanted his current pay doubled making him earn N4m per show. This request riled the executives at Glo and they ordered that his ambassadorship status be revoked.
. In February 2009, the 30-year-old music star temporarily ceased to be a Glo ambassador and was barred from performing at the Rock and Rule Tour, notwithstanding that he had been paid. The company went ahead to substitute him with P-Square and 9ice.
Seeing as Glo was one of his high source of income, he decided to take a step back to retract his actions, he decided to humble himself. (Good Idea)
But I guess that didn’t last long as...a little birdie put it,”Shortly after he was reinstated, D‘banj started defaulting on his ‘deliverables‘. He would shun events while other ambassadors would be there. Even the few he attended, the company had to go ferry him from his Maryland (Lagos) home...
This was somebody who was given a car for the singular purpose of bringing him to events. The painful part was that whenever his presence was required, reaching him was a huge problem because he never used the Glo line he was given, preferring to stick to randomly changing lines.”
I guess Chief Adenuga(CEO GLO) became fed up with the ‘Coco Master’ because right now, he’s been left behind and replaced by pop-twins P-Square.

Damn Shame!

NOLLYWOOD'S 5 MOST POWERFUL ACTRESSES.

My Naija's Young and Fabulous has decided to compile a list of the most powerful Nollywood actresses RIGHT NOW. The 5 ladies that made the list posess something that any 'IT' actress must have to be successful. They are beautiful, smart and multi-talented. They are bussiness women in their own rights and have expanded their reach into other African nations

1) Genevieve Nnaji
The Julia Roberts of Africa ( In Oprah Winfrey's words). She is the classic 'survivor' story. Without a University degree, Miss Nnaji has overcome all obstacles to become a successful black woman in her all standards. As one of the highest paid Nollywood actresses, Genevieve can stand claim to being among the most powerful figures in the movie industry. She is also business savvy, as the latest face of MUD Cosmetics, Genevieve is only getting bigger.

2) Omotola Jalade Ekeinde
She is the voluptuous Actress that has been on our TV screens for over 10years. The young mother of three is not slowing down anytime soon as she now wants to take over our radio with a promising music career. She's the typical multi-tasker, juggling motherhood, being a wife and a super star.

She is also a spokes person for popular Telecommunications industry GLO.

NIGERIA IS 50 TODAY! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE

Our country Nigeria is 50 today and I believe its a cause for celebration. Some might argue that we have not come far and there is still a lot of work to be done. Many believe that Nigeria has not reached its full capacity and we still have a long way to go to be recognized as a powerful African Nation. But I must say, we do have a reason to be grateful and on this day we as Nigerians need to come together to show our pride and to work towards making our country a better one. Nigeria cannot move forward without its citizens so we are very crucial in taking our Nation to the next level. I believe that we can do it and lets hope that in THE NEXT 50YRS, WHEN NIGERIA IS 100 WE WILL BE STANDING NEXT TO THE GREAT NATIONS AS ONE OF THEIR COUNTERPARTS. NIGERIA MUST SURVIVE, WE HAVE COME TOO FAR TO GIVE UP. GOD BLESS US.
